Dog Adoptions
At Quinn’s K-9 Services, we offer sanctuary for dogs from diverse backgrounds. Most frequently, we pick up where irresponsible, backyard breeders fall short.
What Makes Us Rescue Done Right?
Comprehensive Veterinary Care:
All of our intakes receive vaccines, monthly preventatives, deworming, microchips, and USDA health certificates, at minimum. We also provide extensive specialty care when deemed beneficial to our dog's quality of life, behavior, & long-term health.
Professional Training:
Every puppy goes through our Puppy Kickstart Program—this completely covers introductions to crate training, potty training, basic obedience, exposure to new environments, and desensitization to grooming, baths, veterinary handling, and nail trims. All adult dogs receive an individualized on-leash, obedience program, as well as everything mentioned in the Puppy Kickstart, furthering their ability to be easily integrated into your home, and lifestyle. We also offer additional programs catered uniquely to what you are seeking in your new addition - whether you are hoping to adopt a therapy dog prospect, an off-leash hiking-buddy, or your ideal family dog — we've got it covered! We offer individualized training programs personalized to our adopters to maximize compatibility.
Behavioral Evaluations:
Every dog is evaluated by professional trainers to ensure proper adoption placement from the moment they enter our care, to the moment they go home; updating adopters & ideal homes every step of the way. Our evaluations are transparent, & with certainty; given our rigorous testing. You aren't adopting a 'maybe', you are adopting with certain safety for your other pets, children, friends, neighbors, and family.
Strict Screening:
We have a thorough application process and require a legally binding adoption contract to protect our dogs for life. Feel at ease knowing we accept our rescue dogs back into our program for any reason, at any time, should it be necessary. We are NOT in a rush to place our dogs, however; once you are approved, the process should be completed promptly to keep our adoption process on time with the individual dog's training.
No Early Spay/Neuter:
Research suggests pediatric sterilization directly increases the risk of orthopedic vulnerabilities, certain cancers, and hormonal imbalances - therefore, we work directly with our adopters to ensure sterilization is complete once the dog is of physical maturity, for their long-term health.
Lifetime Support:
Adopters receive lifetime discounted training, boarding, & support through our company. We spend countless hours with each individual dog, and it is invaluable to us to remain a resource to our adopters for a lifetime!
Non-Refundable Application Fee:
A $55 application fee is now required to ensure we’re only spending our time with serious, committed adopters. Approved applications remain on file for 1 year from the application date; contingent upon applicable changes to the household. Approved applications can request to be placed on our 'waitlist' for their ideal dog in order to be contacted prior to their publication.
We’re not a shelter.
We’re not a revolving door.
Many of our dogs come from owner surrenders, hoarding cases, and neglectful breeding operations—situations where they received little to no structure, care, or socialization. We don’t just rehome—we start over and give them the foundation they should have had from the beginning.
We are a mission-driven rescue and training program that holds our dogs, and our adopters, to a higher standard. With Rescue Done Right you aren't adopting a 'maybe', in regard to safety, training, health, or socialization; you are rescuing the best guarantee there is.
Please expect adoption fees to reflect the incomparable amount of care each individual dog receives, such as; veterinarian visits, the individualized time, training, evaluations, and rehabilitation from our professional trainers, quality nutrition, grooming, and daily-care. When adopting from Rescue Done Right, you are investing in a dog with exceptional foundations in place, on-going support, and ensuring life-long success - this is not a low-cost service.
If you’re looking for a puppy that’s had the best possible start — or an adult dog with the proper foundations established — and a rescue that stays in your corner for life—you’re in the right place.
